An Athlete's Journey From Intensive Care To The Swiss Alps

I am making a documentary film, and I want you to be part of the journey.  Read on to find out more!

DAVID SMITH MBE has an amazing story. His perseverance and strength of mind & body, in the face of adversity, is beyond the realms of what a normal person could imagine.

A Gold Medallist in the London Paralympics, and two World Championship wins in rowing, before turning to cycling and being selected for the national team. It seems like something you could only dream of, but when you look deeper into David's journey, it is even more incredible. Multiple spinal tumours have threatened his life and his ability to walk. He's suffered paralysis, and been told surgery could kill him, yet he has fought through it, and continues to defy doctors and medical experts, by continuing to smash goals that the average human could only dream of.

His next chapter will see him leave hospital again with the all clear to exercise, and he will tackle some of the toughest road climbs in the Swiss Alps on his bike.

I am going to tell his story in a feature length documentary and this is where you come in. We need to raise money to get this film made. A story which has to be told, which the World needs to see. I plan to start with crowdfunding. We want to firstly create an audience. No matter if you contribute financially, we want you to sign up to the mailing list, and follow the social media pages, to prove to the film industry that there's a demand to see this.

There will be a Kickstarter page launched very soon, and I would love as many people as possible to share it, and the social pages with as many people as possible. If we have a big audience we can apply for funding to get this made into something really special.

So, please join David and myself on this journey. Share the news, share the campaigns, and let's get this film and this amazing guy onto the big screen.

Thank you for reading and I look forward to sharing this experience with you.
